It's a word I dreaded all my growing years, and it is a word you dread too. It is a word that is still present in some of your lives, no matter how hard you try to get rid of it.
It is the terrifying 'C' word.
In my life, I've never met anyone who has enjoyed going to classes. I know I used to hate and detest them. They robbed meof precious 'me-time', where you could just relax at home, or even play with my friends, and do things at my own pace. Once you're part of the whole classes rat-race, all you could do is run. And honestly, that is what I would do. I don't remember paying attention to a single lecture in classes, but I do remember running from home to classes to reach them on time.
For three straight hours I would sit in that crummy white hell-hole, listening to illeterate idiots claiming to give me 99% in my Board exams. Unless they had Tinkerbell working for them, I didn't think it was possible for a group of 20 children, with different aptitudes and abilities, to score "above 90%".
False claims. All false! If you're a parent and you're reading this, do yourself a favor, and do your kids a favor, DO NOT SEND THEM TO CLASSES!! Why is it so necessary for everyone to score 90% and above? Why is it wrong to score 60%? (FYI, The lowest I've scored is 45%..and I think I'm doing fairly ok for myself?) Why are we training the children of India to feel ashamed if they don't reach this pedestal we've created for them? Nobody is perfect. Let's leave it that way.
P.S. The classes I'm referring to is Chate classes, which robbed me of two years of my life.
P.P.S. I know you're reading this. And this post is dedicated to you, and the 'pain' you suffer everyday, attending classes...
